Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)
LOCATION: 12-0168
TIME: 14:00PM - 16:00PM
SPEAKER: Dino Klotz, Zurich Instruments
Do you want to get started with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy but don't know how? Or are you already using it and would like to know more about theory, while also learning some practical tricks?
This workshop will introduce the basics of EIS and give practical hints to avoid common errors.
The workshop is aimed at graduate students, post-docs and everybody else who is interested in impedance spectroscopy, newcomers and regular users alike.
2 PM-3PM: Tutorial session Impedance Spectroscopy as versatile tool for electrical, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical characterization
3 PM-4PM: Demo session Live demonstration of impedance measurements on example devices.
After the two sessions, there will be time for informal conversations (donuts provided) to discuss specific impedance-related problems.
